Let them be social

By nature, dogs are social animals. Not only do they enjoy the company of other dogs, they seem to have boundless energy. When left alone all day, some dogs become anxious, mischievous or destructive.

Relieve Excess Energy

By attending daycare on a regular basis, your dog will receive the exercise and stimulation he or she craves, resulting in a relaxed dog each evening. Daycare will also provide your companion with the social interactions they crave with other dogs and humans.

Types of Daycare

During your dog's temperament test, we will know which one of our play areas your dog will belong to. We have seen an influx of dogs that were not socialized during COVID and we have re-vamped our daycare policies.

Large Group Play

For the dog that meets a number of criteria during their temperament test. Some of these criteria are: spayed/neutered, no resource guarding, no lunging or growling, no signs of nervousness or anxiety, the ability to read social cues of the other dogs, reaction to stimuli, non retaliatory, posturing and more.

Small Group Play

For those dogs that need us to hand pick and select their special friends for a play group. Maybe your dog will do better with a higher energy pup, or lower energy males, etc. Sometimes a dog simply does not enjoy the large play group and that is OK. Small group play is a perfect way to ensure they are socialized and getting energy out. This is also the playgroup unaltered males and females will go to once they are over 6 months of age.

Build-Up

This daycare category is for dogs that see one or two friends and get super excited and engaged, however, once we bring more out for them to meet, they become startled, anxious or fearful. Our goal is to slowly introduce a new pup to their play group each time they come, working at the dog's pace to build trust.

Private Play

This daycare category is for the pup that simply prefers the company of humans. Our Play Group Coordinator will get them engaged, running, playing, fetching, doing water play, pool play and more so they receive mental and physical stimulation.
